Marketing agency goosebump? won the Grand Prix at the APMC Star Awards which were held in Dublin’s Marker Hotel last week. The agency won the top award for its campaign for mymilkman.ie entitled ‘Fresh Milk Just a click away’.
Speaking on behalf of the judges Chairperson Ruth Guy, director of fund-raising and marketing with Barnados said “mymilkman.ie stood out for all the judges as it was an excellent promotion that effected a fundamental change in consumer behaviour whilst delivering a real benefit to both the business owner and the consumer. Whilst others looked to compete on the retailer’s shelves this campaign took the unique, personal aspects of a very traditional business/service and leveraged them in the best way possible through real personalisation and changing the way the business operates to benefit all. A stunningly simple, effective and excellently executed campaign”.
It was also a big night for a number of other leading agencies including Backup Marketing which won four Golds for its work for Mondelez International on the Natural Confectionery Company’s Jungle Antics campaign, which also won the award for Best Creative. There was also a very impressive haul for Cawley Nea TBWA who picked up a total of seven Golds for campaign work for the likes of Electric Ireland and Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Boys and Girls, meanwhile, also won four Golds for campaigns for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard and Kellogg’s. Other winners on the night were Publicis D, InSight Marketing, Rothco Social+, Verve Marketing, Ogilvy Dublin and Imagine.
