98FM has announced the appointment of Keith McCormack as its new CEO. He replaces Chris Doyle who left the station in 2013.
McCormack joins the station from Failte Ireland where he was director of Visit Dublin and head of events, leading a team of over 40 people.
Prior to joining Failte Ireland six years ago, he was head of marketing for Greenstar. Earlier in his career, he held marketing positions at Glanbia and Irish Biscuits Ltd.
Commenting on the appointment, Gervaise Slowey, Chief Executive of Communicorp Group, said: “I am delighted to announce Keith McCormack as the new CEO for 98FM. With a strong track record in commercial development coupled with considerable sales and marketing experience, Keith’s expertise will be invaluable in growing 98FM, Dublin’s favourite radio station.”
