Aidan Greene, the managing director of MediaVest has been appointed as deputy CEO of Core Media. His successor as managing director is Michael Clancy.
Green has been managing director of MediaVest for the past seven years. Prior to joining the agency, he worked at a number of Dublin-based agencies in the past, including Peter Owens, Carat, the network and Dialogue.
Michael Clancy, meanwhile has been with MediaVest for 10 years, five of these as deputy managing director during which time he was instrumental in growing the agency’s business. He is a former deputy managing director of Mindshare.
According to Greene, “at MediaVest we’ve always prided ourselves on innovation and strategy, something which permeates every fibre of Core Media Group too. We’ve shown this recently by being the first advertising firm in Ireland to set up an econometrics division. We are also in the process of setting up a sponsorship division and a learning and development centre. Our clients recognise this commitment to bringing them the very best thinking for their brands and Paris based research firm, RECMA, has also recognised Core Media Group as being the number one firm in Ireland across 4 areas of assessment. We continue to apply our expertise for the benefit of clients, we continue to invest in our people to make them the best they can possibly be and I look forward to this new role as Deputy CEO of Core Media Group where I will work across all areas within the business.”
