McCannBlue has made a number of key appointments to the agency including Laurence Keogh to the position of senior writer and Andrew Murray as head of social media.
Keogh has a long track record in the advertising industry, having worked with McConnells Advertising where he was executive creative director. While at McConnells he worked across a number of key accounts including AIB, the GAA, Mini, Golden Olive and O2. He later joined its predecessor, Target McConnells where he worked as creative director. After leaving the agency to pursue a freelance career, he has worked with agencies like Chemistry, Irish International and Cawley Nea\TBWA.
For his part Andrew Murray has joined McCannBlue from In the Company of Huskies where he was head of social content. He has worked on award winning campaigns for Guinness, AIB, Carlsberg, Guinness Storehouse, Vodafone, Failte Ireland, Liberty Insurance and Dolmio. He has also lectured on Social Media Content Management for the M.Sc Digital Marketing Course in the UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business. In addition he has written a book called ‘The 80’s kid’, a retro-take on growing up in Ireland in the 80s and 90s.
