Dentsu Aegis Network Ireland has appointed Dave Winterlich as its chief strategy officer while John Clancy replaces him as managing director of Carat Ireland.
Winterlich had been managing director of Carat for the past eight years while Clancy joined the agency in 2014 from ZenithOptimedia, where he was managing director. In his new role Winterlich will have responsibility for the strategic direction of the Dentsu Aegis Network in Ireland.
“I am delighted for both Dave and John, they are two highly talented individuals and I have no doubt that they will make a huge contribution to Carat and Dentsu Aegis Network respectively,” says Ciaran Cunningham, CEO of Carat Ireland.
Carat has also made a number of other key appointments. Kathryn Pugh has been appointed as AV Manager; Caroline Mullen has been appointed as senior account manager while Eoin Corrigan has been appointed as account manager.
In addition Carat has also hired a number of new staff. These include the appointment of Oilbhe Doyle as account director. Prior to this she worked with OMD. Elsewhere Gavin McGuinness joins the agency as senior account manager from PML while Alan McAuley and Harry Eustace take up the roles of digital account manager and account executive respectively.
Denstu Aegis Network owns a number of agencies in Ireland including Carat Ireland, Vizeum, Isobar and iProspect.
