Core Media has launched its first formal Graduate Recruitment Programme with the aim of hiring ten new graduates from third level colleges around the country.
The successful candidates will join the group in September with a comprehensive induction process involving Core Knowledge, the company’s on-site state of the art learning and development facility, and the graduates will then be immersed in each of the companies that make up Core Media.
Commenting on the creation of the new roles Catherine Fitzgibbon, HR Director, said “As a group we thrive on the drive, innovation and sheer enthusiasm of our employees. In creating Core Knowledge, our state-of-the-art learning centre, we have shown we are leaders in driving standards in the media industry and now we are further committing our resources to delivering the next generation of media specialists.
“The Graduate Recruitment Programme demonstrates our commitment to young graduates as they come out of college and seek full-time, paid employment. The 10 employees will also have the benefit of Core Knowledge as they build up their practical skills before being assigned to a Core media company. We look forward to recruiting Ireland’s top class graduates and welcoming the 10 graduates in September.”
The launch comes alongside a targeted media campaign incorporating outdoor and digital advertising. Interested graduates are being asked to apply with CVs that don’t follow convention, with the best potential “media heads” being invited to take part in an innovative fun interview process at the end of May.
