The Dentsu Aegis-owned media agency Carat has been named as the world’s leading media agency in the latest RECMA rankings.
Carat regained the top spot in RECMA’s qualitative Network Diagnostics report, overtaking MediaCom, which had assumed top spot in June. MediaCom took second position in the global rankings, ahead of MEC, OMD and Mindshare which came in fifth place.
The RECMA rankings are based on an assessment of 650 agencies across 42 countries, with evaluation scores against 19 criteria, including new business success, talent and strength and stability of management.
