Bloom Advertising has picked up the creative account for Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien, following a competitive four-way agency pitch process which included the incumbent Owens DDB.
Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien has just celebrated its 180th year in business, making it one of the oldest companies in Ireland. “It is a real honour to get to work on a brand like Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien. It is a household name, a brand we were all raised on” said David Quinn managing partner at Bloom. “They are part of our history. Our challenge is to make sure they are a big part of our future”
“The FMCG sector and in particular the bread category is very competitive. We face some big challenges from our competitors, own label and from changing tastes in the market” says Emilia Ryan, Marketing Manager at Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien “We were really taken with Bloom’s approach to this and with what they have done for their other clients. We are really looking forward to the new campaign,” says Quinn.
