Allianz has been unveiled as the new sponsor of RTÉ2’s League Sunday. The show, presented by Michael Lyster and featuring a range of Ireland’s best GAA analysts, brings viewers highlights of the Allianz Leagues in both football and hurling every Sunday night over the course of the Allianz League campaign.
Now in its 24th year as sponsor of the Allianz Leagues, Allianz Ireland has also confirmed that it is to extend its partnership with the GAA through a five year extension of its sponsorship of both the football and hurling leagues.
According to Dermot Rigley, commercial manager, RTÉ Media Sales: “Allianz Ireland has a long and proud tradition of supporting communities through its sponsorship of the Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues and now with its title sponsorship of Allianz League Sunday on RTÉ2 has added its name to the premier highlights show showcasing the best that the Allianz Leagues have to offer every Sunday night.
