The Marketing Society of Ireland has announced the opening of four vacancies on its council and is seeking nominations from the wider marketing community.
The vacancies arise as members Mark Nolan of Ignite (former Chair); Jonathan Ryan of Kelloggs (former Secretary); Shane Doyle of MCCP and marketer Annette Ni Dhathlaoi retire.
Nominations are now open for three spaces on the General Panel of the Marketing Society Council and one space is vacant on the Research Panel. The General Panel is open to those working in the broader marketing sphere while the Research Panel is specific to those operating in a market research function.
Nominations for the Council must be in respect of a current individual member. Nomination forms, along with a short biography, must be sent to Irene McEvoy (irene@marketingsociety.ie) at the Marketing Society by Thursday, 16th June 2016.
Michael Clancy, Chair of the Marketing Society and MD of Medivest, said: “a place on the Council offers an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the debate amongst the marketing and market research industry in Ireland. I would like to thank our retiring members Mark, Jonathan, Shane and Annette for their contribution to the work of the Council over the past few years.”
