Verve the Live Agency, the Dublin and London based creative agency, has been nominated for the Best Corporate Event 2016 at this year’s International Live Events Association (ILEA) Esprit Awards for its “Grand Hotel Google” event.
The nomination sees Verve shortlisted alongside international competition in the Best Corporate Event category, and they are one of only two European Agencies to be shortlisted for these prestigious Awards, universally recognised as the Event Oscars
The category recognises and rewards excellence in the planning and execution of a corporate event. Over 4,500 Google employees were treated to a Grand Budapest Hotel inspired event transforming the RDS into a glamorous 1930’s hotel complete with Prohibition Bar, Jail, Casino, Speakeasy, Electric Cinema, Spa, giant triple level stage, with clever use of lighting created a look and feeling of being outside a hotel front but guests were actually already inside the venue.
A fully functional, tiered fountain was installed in front of the hotel façade. The international entertainment featured Trapeze artists, Aerialists, a troupe of Onyx Showgirls, Acrobats, Character Actors, brass bands and live DJs with saxophone duo. Verve the Live Agency provided a one stop suite of event management services including venue sourcing, full creative design, technical production, catering services, entertainment and talent management.

The winners of the 2016 ILEA Esprit Awards will be announced on Saturday, 13th August at a ceremony in Austin, Texas USA.
