Sky Go has expanded its channel line-up to include Irish channels RTÉ One, RTÉ2, RTÉ jnr, TV3, 3e and UTV.
The Irish channels join a line-up of over 65 stations on the mobile SkyGo platform which is available to Sky Customers, including the likes Sky News, Sky Atlantic as well as Sky’s pay-for packages like Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. The Irish stations will also appear in the same order as they do on the electronic programme guide (EPG).
Last month, the RTÉ Player was launched on the Sky platform as part of other catch-up services it offers broadcasters it hosts on its platform. Rather than watching the RTÉ Player on a tablet, PC or laptop, it means viewers can access it directly on their TVs if they are Sky customers.
