Core Media expects to report billings of €225m and profits in the order of €4m this year according to its CEO Alan Cox.
In a wide-ranging interview with the Irish Independent, he also added that company would consider possible acquisitions over the next few years in areas that would complement its existing business.
“By 2020 we want to be a full service group. We are on a path towards that,” he told the Irish Independent.
“It’s not just enough to provide services,” he said. “The big challenge is collaboration and integration. We’re spending a lot of time and effort in finding ways to collaborate internally,” he added.
He also said that the group was investing heavily in its data capabilities. This year the investment will amount to around €600,000, rising to €1.1m next year.
Core Media employs 279 staff and its stable of media brands include Starcom, MediaVest, Mediaworks, ZenithOptimedia while it also owns digital agency Radical as well as the sponsorship agency Livewire. Other companies within the group include the recruitment advertising company Engage Communications and the market research firm Ignite.
Last month the group announced that Patrick Coveney, the CEO of Greencore, had joined the board.
