The Marketing Society is organising a breakfast seminar in the Smock Alley Theatre next Thursday November 3 which will focus on “why customer experience is still king.”
With so much clutter and noise in the communications landscape, marketers are finding it increasingly difficult to build lasting relationships with customers and are now working on putting customer experience (CX) at the heart of their marketing touchpoints.
Speakers on the day include Cathal Keaveney, director of professional development for Peter Mark who will talk about bottom line impact of CX. In addition, Graham Tocher, commercial director with Kantar TNS Global Strategies Practice, who will focus on delivering customer experience “On The Ground” while Vijay Gupta, head of product & industry marketing & strategy with Adobe will discuss how to deliver a customer experience online.
According to Claire McFerran, chair of the Marketing Society and innovation director for Kellogg Europe; “this year, the focus of the Marketing Society is to help senior marketers leverage tomorrows’ change today. Distinct from customer service, customer experience marketing has exploded in importance. It’s about putting the customer at the forefront of your entire marketing strategy – permanently – with the aim of driving not just sales, but repeat custom. This is a very relevant topic for our community of senior marketers and each of our speakers will aim to leave us with one practical learning that we can all put in place in our own organisations.”
