MCCP, the brand strategy and planning agency has made a number of new key hires to its senior team following a period of double digit growth this year, according to its founder Kay McCarthy.
The appointments include Jill McCarron has been appointed as brand & innovation director having spent over 17 years working on the client side with companies like Kerry Foods and Danone.
Jo Wood, meanwhile, is MCCP’s new director of strategy, having previously worked for DDFH&B and Ogilvy & Mather, working across brands Supervalu, Irish Life, Heinz and the H.S.E.
Mark Byrne, director of strategy, has joined from Design Works while Aoife Marron has been appointed as senior research manager, having started her career in Red C before joining MCCP.
“I expect that we will continue to add to the team in 2017,” says Kay McCarthy, “as clients are coming to us with bigger questions and are asking us to partner with them to enable brand-led change to drive real growth in their business.”
“As an independent strategy agency, we approach brand strategy through finding growth levers for businesses, and this starts with the consumer. We are hired by CEOs and CMOs who want to fast-track their business to high levels of growth. We work with them to define the right brand strategy that will unlock growth, which can mean identifying a new brand purpose to connect with their consumer, developing an innovation strategy and helping them bring the brand strategy right through the organisation. This results in growth that is sustainable and not short-term,” says McCarthy.
