The 2017 Marketing Society Research Excellence Awards are now open for entries. The annual awards are one of the highlights of the marketing calendar and take place during the Marketing Society’s Annual Christmas lunch on Friday, December 1 in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel.
Last year 52 entries were received and this year marks their 9th year. This year the jury will be chaired by Dr Kate Uí Ghallachóir, Head of the School of Marketing at Dublin Institute of Technology. She will be joined by Jackie Conway (Kelloggs), Peter Nash (Tourism Ireland), Claire Cogan (Britvic), Pauline Murnin (Aviva), Noel Larkin (Novartis) and Michael Dargan (AIB).
As Ireland’s only dedicated market research awards, the awards programme is a crucial platform to demonstrate the transformative impact that research can have on the success of a campaign or business.
Launching this year’s awards Claire McFerran, Chair of the Marketing Society, said: “I’m once again delighted to launch the 9th year of the Research Excellence Awards. The awards continue go from strength to strength with changes implemented to ensure we continue to recognise and reward excellence in the Market research industry. I’m particularly pleased to welcome our incoming chair of the judging panel, Dr Kate Ui Ghallachóir, Head of the School of Marketing at DIT.”
The closing date for the 2017 Research Excellence Awards is Friday, 3rd November 2017 at 4pm.
