Rothco has won the creative account for the National Lottery following a final two-way pitch between itself and TBWA\Dublin.
The media account is currently handled by Starcom and was not part of the account review.
The original pitch process involved Publicis Dublin, Rothco, TBWA\Dublin and the incumbent DDFH&B which has handled the account for the past 11 years and has won numerous awards for it during this time.
This is a significant account win for the agency and it follows soon after it picked up the creative account for eir for which it oversaw and created a major brand re-positioning and campaign for the telecommunications company.
Following a period of significant growth for the agency, including the recent account wins, Rothco has now established itself as the largest creative agency in Ireland in terms of both turnover and staff.
The agency’s other accounts include the likes of AIB, Tesco, Heineken Ireland, Dublin Bus, Gas Networks Ireland, Failte Ireland, Unilever and Aer Lingus.
