Gemma Teeling has been appointed as deputy managing director of the Omnicom-owned agency PHD.
Teeling replaces Sandra Alvarez who recently joined Spark Foundry, part of the Core Media group of agencies.
Teeling started her career at a small independent media company in London before entering the Omnicom family at MGOMD in the UK. After moving to Maxus, she moved to Ireland to work for Mindshare before re-joining the Omnicom fold in 2014 when she joined PHD in Dublin.
Since then she has led the Mondelez business amongst other key accounts and has played a key role in business development and winning new clients.
“We pride ourselves on a differentiated positioning within the market and on our cultural approach of finding a better way for our clients, industry and people and Gemma has been instrumental-along with many others- in our success at achieving this. Gemma’s appointment recognises her past contribution, but more significantly, our confidence in her ability to drive our future success, for our clients business, our partners business and our own business,” says Jason Nebanzahl, managing director of PHD Ireland.
