The Dublin-based agency bloom has picked up the creative account for Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) while media agency Carat has won the media account following a competitive tender.
The first campaign for the forthcoming Open Day went live this week across a range of media including out of home, radio, online display, video on demand and social.
“We are currently in the process of establishing a Technological University with our colleagues in IT Tallaght and Blanchardstown so this is an exciting time for us” said Deirdre Scully, marketing and digital communications specialist at DIT.
“The competition for students amongst third-level colleges particularly in the Dublin area is increasing but DIT has a unique and compelling offering to communicate to potential students,” she says.
“We are delighted to be working with DIT. The marketing of third-level education is evolving
all the time,” says David Quinn, managing partner at bloom. “When I finished school, colleges didn’t need to advertise at all, now with more students going on to third-level and more courses on offer, it is a very different story.”
