The Irish Times and O’Brien’s Wine started the Christmas season in style with a festive 3 course lunch and wine pairing event held in the old Irish Times building (now Medley Private Venue) on D’Olier Street, as part of The Irish Times Food Month series.
Alanna Gallagher, Irish Times Home and Interiors Writer welcomed guests to the venue which was resplendent in its Christmas décor.
Lynne Coyle MW, Wine Director at O’Briens Wine, was on hand to guide everyone with tasting notes on five of O’Briens best wines and champagnes that were savored with the best of Andrew Rudds seasonal menu while Lilly Higgins, Irish Times Food Writer, joined the conversation to share her secrets for making Christmas a feast for the senses.
All guests received a special gift bag courtesy of O’Brien’s wine and a complimentary copy of the Irish Times Weekend edition.
