The first wave of judges for the forthcoming Media Awards, which take place on April 5th in the Clayton Burlington Hotel, has been announced.
This year’s judging panel will be co-chaired by Liliana Caro, chief marketing officer, Kinetic Worldwide and Claire Beale, editor in chief of Campaign.

I’m delighted to be involved and eager to get to see what the cream of the Irish media industry has to offer,” says Liliano Caro.

They will be joined by Bernard Bermingham, Commercial Manager, Extra.ie; Meadhbh Quinn, Marketing Consultant; Michael O’Brien, Marketing Manager, Motivation Weight Management; Cliona Hayes, Senior Global Advertising and Brand Lead, Indeed.com; Chris Cashen, Head of Media, Javelin, Sarah Taylor, Digital Out of Home Director, Wide Eye Outdoor; Siobhan O’Connell, Sales & Marketing Director, Business Plus magazine and Lucy Murray, Head of Mass Market, Bank of Ireland. A number of other high-profile judges from within the media, marketing and advertising industry will be appointed to the panel over the coming weeks.
The highlight of the annual media and advertising calendar, the Media Awards showcase and recognise best practice in media buying, planning and research as well as the media brands and people who make up the industry. The Awards, which are now in their eight year, are open to all media and advertising agencies, media owners and brands on the island of Ireland.
In addition to the new judging panel, two Platinum Partners to the Awards have been announced. DMG Media Ireland and Post Media, which is part of An Post. Additional Partners will be announced over the coming weeks.
The deadline for entry to the Media Awards has been set for Monday, February 26 at 4pm. After that, no further entries will be permitted.
