The Promotional Marketing Association has announced this year’s nominations for the annual APMC Star Awards. The awards continue to set the benchmark for excellence in promotional marketing and this year a total of 154 entries were submitted across 21 categories.
Out of those entries, 91 nominations have been made. A number of agencies are nominated multiple times, including Guns or Knives, Boys and Girls, BBDO Shop, Verve the Live Agency, and Havas. The two Experiential categories proved to be the most popular, followed by Digital and FMCG. We also welcomed a first ever direct entry from the Dogs Trust.
The judging panel featured Alternatives’ Group Managing Director Charley Stoney, Imagination Post’s International Director John Milne, Global Marketing Director of Heineken Fiona Curtin, and leading pitch doctor Brian Sparks.
According to Fiona Curtin: “The level of work submitted this year was outstanding, and it was fantastic to see people embrace the new structure and categories. We’re looking forward to sharing the results with everyone in April.”
This year’s headline sponsors is Umbrella Risk Management. Additional sponsors of the awards include Irish Marketing Journal (IMJ), Element, Hayes Solicitors, Return2Sender, McCul Clothing, Brandit, TPI and Pearl AV.
Winners will be announced at the APMC Star Awards Ceremony on April 20th in The Marker Hotel. To find out more about the ceremony or to book your table, email Karen at karen@apmc.ie. Tickets for the ceremony are priced at €195 each.
