The Core-owned media agency Mediaworks picked up the coveted Grand Prix at the annual Media Awards which were held in Dublin last night.
The agency won the Grand Prix on the back of its work for KBC Bank Ireland. During the night, KBC and Mediaworks were awarded six major awards including two gold awards for Best Use of Search and Best Media Idea, two silver awards for Best Collaboration for Digital & Online and Creativity in Media and a bronze award for the Best Creative Execution. The Grand Prix Award was for the ‘Experience Your World’ campaign in partnership with Mediaworks, Daft.ie and Journal.ie.
According to the judges’ citation: “It has been a very interesting journey judging innovative and creative cases that showcase how media can enhance brand experience, explore different uses of data and technology to create utility and most important demonstrating how media can have a key role in increasing business results. The Grand Prix, besides having all these characteristics, changed the way Ireland now experiences that category. Something that is only possible through an exceptional partnership between Client, Media Agency and Media Owner.”
