Want to learn how to move your business from being disrupted to being the disrupter? Want to find out how leading Irish businesses are dealing with disruption?
The Dentsu Aegis-owned media agency Vizeum is organising a breakfast seminar organised around the theme of disruption and what businesses need to do to stave off the challenges that lie ahead.
Key speakers will share their experiences and insight in how to best position businesses for growth, with a panel discussion on what we all need to be doing to stay ahead in the changing times.
The speakers include Paul Dervan, Senior Director of Brand Strategy, Global with indeed.com and he will share insights about understanding the culture of an internet based business and when it needs to adopt traditional brand principles. Paul looks after the global brand strategy for Indeed, having originally joined to create a Marketing Campaigns Lab. Before this, Paul worked on start-up brands in Latin America and Ireland and was Head of Brand for O2 in Ireland.
Meanwhile, Gordon D’Arcy, business consultant and former rugby international will share his insights on how can you build a high performance team culture. He will also discuss the elements critical to business success, with culture occupying a place as important as a product or service.
Other speakers include Conor Murphy, Managing Director of Vizeum who will share the story of an industry in disruption and how an organization managed to transition from being disrupted to being the disrupter. Conor has worked with some of the country’s top brands, helping to shape their communications and drive substantial growth for their businesses. These have included eir Group, BMW MINI, Vodafone and Bank of Ireland.
Finally, Clare O’Mahony, Head of Growth with Stripe Ireland will discuss the company’s experience as a disrupter in the financial services sector.
The panel discussion will be curated by Padraig Hyland, Strategy and Communications consultant who brings curiosity and insight to the event. Padraig has worked on many global strategic growth initiatives with organisations such as Heineken, DHL and Smurfit Kappa.
The location for the event is Vizeum’s offices, 20-38 Haddington Road and it will take place next Thursday, April 12th April and starts at 8am and finishes at 10am. Some places are still available and to attend, please contact Joanna Gorczak (joanna.gorczak@vizeum.com).
