DMG Media Ireland flexed its digital muscles at this week’s Dublin Tech Summit where it had a substantial footprint at the event.
As part of its involvement, the media company – which recently scooped Media Brand of the Year for Evoke.ie at the annual Media Awards- interviewed a number of industry heavyweights at the summit.
Digital display advertising, ad blockers and influencer partnerships are just a few of the issues facing brands, agencies and content creators alike in a changing world and they were up for discussion in the Extra.ie studio.
Core’s Hannah Louise Dunne spoke about how she helps to connect brands and audiences in her role as head of content partnerships and the growing market. IAB Ireland CEO Susan McEligott and Bord Gais head of digital communications Conor Barron also talked through their flexible formats collaboration, which is enabling advertisers to fit their content to a variety of devices and screen sizes.
In addition, Three Ireland’s digital marketing manager Cian McDonagh also dropped by to tell all about the company’s successful The Call Up campaign and just how difficult it is to produce lasting owned content due to increased competition and shrinking attention spans.
