The newly appointed CEO of eir, Carolan Lennon will join a panel that includes Kevin Donnelly, Managing Director of Britvic Ireland and Mary Lambkin-Coyle, Professor of Marketing at the UCD School of Business to discuss why marketing matters. The event is being organised by the Marketing Society and will take place in the Royal College of Physicians on Kildare Street on Wednesday, May 9th.

Carolan Lennon is the newly appointed CEO of eir and the first female CEO of the telecoms group. She has held a number of senior roles in the telecommunications and technology sectors, including consumer director and marketing director at Vodafone Ireland.
Kevin Donnelly is Managing Director of Britvic Ireland, has over 25 years commercial and marketing experience in the food and beverage sector spanning senior roles with Britvic, Dairygold, Unilever Foods and Lever Brothers. A former Marketer of the Year, Kevin’s commercial expertise has steered Britvic to its market leading position in Ireland today as part of UK listed Britvic plc.
Mary Lambkin-Coyle is Professor of Marketing in the UCD School of Business where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses and is involved in a range of research projects into marketing strategy. She has written extensively on the role of marketing at board level in academic journals and writes marketing commentaries of contemporary interest for professional publications. She has served as Head of the Marketing Group, as Dean of the UCD Business School and as a member of the Governing Authority of the University.
