Journal Media has partnered with Avomore Protein Milk for the launch of a new fitness series which will be published on The42, the publisher’s sports hub.
As part of the sponsorship which will run over the next three months, former Munster out-half Jonny Holland will outline his journey from professional rugby player to qualified nutritionist and how he has had to adapt his lifestyle and fitness regimes to suit. Saoirse Noonan, meanwhile, will discuss aiming to achieve the remarkable feat of helping the Irish soccer team qualify for the World Cup and Cork ladies footballers win an All-Ireland title, all while studying for her Leaving Certificate. The final leader is The42’s own Ryan Bailey who will give readers a glimpse behind the scenes as he trains for his first triathlon.
According to Stuart Scott, Senior Brand Manager at Glanbia: “Avonmore Protein Milk is delighted to be partnering with The42.ie as part of the ‘You’ve Got This’ campaign with the Follow Fitness programme. We want to follow our 3 Fitness Leaders for the next 12 weeks and take inspiration from them. The ‘You’ve Got This’ campaign from Avonmore Protein Milk showcases the hard work, ambition, and nutrition it takes to be a high-performance athlete. We want to support people that are serious about reaching their goals and Saoirse, Jonny and Ryan have fantastic fitness journeys to share.”
“It’s really exciting to partner with Avonmore Protein Milk on this project. By working closely with Glanbia and Carat, we have created a raft of content that aligns with our goal of pioneering new ways to engage with readers while showcasing Avonmore Protein Milk as the ideal product for those interested in their health and fitness,” says Niamh Baker, Account Director at Journal Media.
