RTÉ is to pilot a new entertainment show called First World Problems on the RTÉ Player. The show will be hosted by 2FM presented Chris Greene and Peter Ganley and aims to “take a swipe at traditional media, social media and the ungrateful gremlins who consume it.”
The decision to pilot the show on the RTÉ Player is part of the broadcaster’s strategy to bolster the amount of video on-demand content it hosts online, including a range of documentaries, entertainment and archive content as well as programming that is exclusive to the platform.
