The Dublin-based creative agency Boys + Girls ditched the Rosé- the traditional tipple of choice at Cannes – in favour of a few cans of beer, to create a series of video interviews at last week’s advertising bash in the south of France.
Called a ‘Bag of Cannes’, four video interviews conducted by Sam and Mikey from the agency were recorded with Cannes newbies and veterans covering topics as diverse as yacht parties, €60 G&Ts, what it takes to win a Cannes Lions, shooting music videos and why executive creative director Rory Hamilton does not like short-sleeved shirts.
So crack open a can, sit back and figure out your strategy for Cannes 2019.
