The Lowdown:
Sometimes we need to look back to move forward. With this in mind, Irish Independent asked Epsilon to create a series of TV and VoD ads to celebrate the paper’s re-design which launched on September 1st. The 30 and 20 second edits of the ad – which were created in-house by Epsilon’s creative team – are a tribute to the heritage of the Irish Independent. The ads nod to the history and heritage of the paper, with a look to what lies ahead.
“Sometimes it’s a case of looking back to move forward.” said Epsilon’s Creative Director David Standley. “It’s about the dichotomy, telling both sides of the story which is something newspapers must do.”
