A troubadour collection of butchers singing a rousing rendition of a cleverly re-worked traditional rebel song are the stars of a new advertising campaign from Brady Family Ham which has been created by the Dublin-based creative agency Bloom.
Called ‘It’s Your Only Ham’ the campaign went live this week on TV, radio, online and social platforms. Media planning and buying is handled by OMD.
From its HQ in Timahoe, Co. Kildare, the Brady Family Ham brand has grown in recent years to become Ireland’s leading premium ham brand. A distinctive spirit and sense of humour has always been central to the brand’s personality and this continues to be reflected in the new campaign.
The new commercial begins with a pulse-quickening start, as we join a group of Brady Family butchers in a kitchen singing to the tune of a well-known traditional song, which was written by Domnic Behan, with the lyrics cleverly re-worked for 2019 in praise of Brady Family ham and the reasons why “It’s your only Ham”.
Directed by Declan Lowney and produced by Rocket Science, the new TV commercial was shot on set in Bray.
