With the popularity of podcasting in Ireland showing no signs of abating, AudioOne, Ireland’s leading podcast marketplace and Acast, are hosting a breakfast workshop called Sounds Smart Dublin on May 14 in the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield.
The workshop will explore the entire podcasting ecosystem in Ireland, including what people are listening to, what devices they use and what this means for the advertisers and publishers in terms of monetizing the final output.
As the fastest growing segment of digital audio, interest in podcasting is surging. With half a million people listening in Ireland on a weekly basis, the event will be of interest to publishers, content creators and advertisers and agencies looking to become involved in podcasting.
The creators of two of Ireland’s top podcasts – The 2 Johnnie and Caroline Foran, the woman behind Owning It- will also be on hand to discuss what it takes to create a hit show.
