It’s not every day that a staple in our kitchen is reinvented. And, it’s not every day you get to work with people who are really committed and genuine in their passion for what they do. Developing a campaign for Collar of Gold brought these two rarities together for Creative Communications agency, Goosebump.
Peter McCloskey is the man who developed and patented a new method to extract oil from Rapeseed. Producing a purer oil, one that allows the flavour of the food to shine through. He described the Goosebump experience as, “A very enjoyable, seamless journey of high quality creativity, professional on-time deliveries, superb content and evident enthusiastic interest. Placing me and Collar of Gold at the centre at all times”.
Rachel Bowden Kelly, the marketing consultant who gave Goosebump the opportunity to work on the business said: “It’s been a genuine pleasure to work with Goosebump on this project. They added depths of understanding to the positioning and really brought the uniqueness of Collar of Gold alive in a truly creative way. The combination of great story telling abilities and a deep understanding of shopper behaviour has equipped the brand well for success.”
The result is a campaign which, we believe, is as distinctive as the product is.
We defined the consumer benefit, created a visual means of communicating that benefit, then we wrapped it all up in the magic and mystery of the Irish language.
The campaign will run across digital OOH and You Tube. Social channels will lead consumers to a 90 second brand film that tells the whole story. Voiced by legendary Wexford hurler and native Irish Speaker, Diarmuid Lyng, it leads us to the table, by way of the fields and the mist of early morning.
