The deadline for entry to this year’s Kinsale Shark Awards 2019 is just one week away and the organisers have urged entrants to get their entries in as early as possible as Friday August 30th is the final cut-off point.
Entrants will also have to register to enter the awards and will need important information like their VAT/Tax ID numbers to hand to complete the registration.
The international festival of creativity is held in the picturesque town of Kinsale, Co.Cork and will start on September 18th, concluding on September 21st. This year’s judging panel will be chaired by Mark Denton.
This year’s format will see a number of changes and will focus on four key areas – Short Films (Wednesday 18th September), Design (Thursday 19th September), Music Videos (Friday 20th September) and Advertising (Saturday 21st September).
As part of the festival, the organisers have also lined up a panel of  keynote speakers including Vaughan Arnell, Vicki Maguire, Dave Dye, James Burke and Wilfrid Wood.
With less than a month to go until the festival kicks off, delegates are also being advised to book their hotel accommodation early. The cost of delegate passes – excluding accommodation- start at €100 (ex VAT) for day passes up to €275 (ex VAT) for full-delegate passes.
