Virgin Media Solutions and Red Hot Creative teamed us on Tuesday afternoon to host a ‘Build Your Business’ event in Virgin Media Television’s Studio 2 to showcase the power of TV advertising and how it can help build brands of all sizes. With advertisers from a wide variety of industries in attendance, Virgin Media Solutions’ Frankie Carty spoke about the power of TV advertising and it’s unparalleled effectiveness and return on marketing investment.
The lunchtime event heard from two companies from very different industries about how TV advertising helped them reach their audience and deliver on their and commercial targets. First up was Wave makers’ Gavan Collins on how his client Clear Braces used strategic TV advertising to build their brand. Spark Foundry’s Gemma Gilmore then took to the stage to tell us how Strong Roots used their sponsorship of the Guinness 6 Nations on Virgin Media One, to increase brand awareness and their share of voice in a highly competitive market.
Pat Kenny, who hosted the event, then chaired a panel discussion with Head of Virgin Media Solutions, Paula McCarthy, Head of Red Hot Creative, Dee Macklin, and Senior Media and Marketing Manager of McDonald’s, Jennifer Power.
