Reach Staff Celebrate National Workplace Wellbeing Day in Irish Mirror

It may be May Day and many people are working from home but it’s also National Workplace Wellbeing Day in Ireland and to celebrate it, the Irish Mirror publisher Reach has marked the occasion with a full page in today’s paper celebrating the staff behind its news brands.

National Workplace Wellbeing Day is a campaign by Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) to promote staff physical and mental health and the commercial and editorial teams behind Reach news brands – Irish Mirror, Dublin Live, RSVP, Cork Beo and Belfast Live – have come together to produce a picture montage that was printed in today’s newspaper, as they share a glimpse of life in lockdown whilst still delivering the news titles every day.

According to Joanne McGreevy, managing director of Reach Ireland:“It’s really important at this time that we stay connected with our readers and each other so for our readers, we thought they’d like to see some of the faces behind the brands they love to read. In difficult times, focusing on the things we can control helps us cope with the things we can’t and that’s why our teams, in their new working from home reality, are putting all their effort into making sure our readers continue to get the news they need and trust every day and our commercial teams are still delivering for our advertising partners.”
