The popular Irish Times Winter Nights series of virtual festivals, which began in July 2020, returns this month when Winter Nights 2022 opens on Monday January 24 as Peugeot returns as the main sponsor.
The event will run over four nights and hosts include Róisín Ingle, Jennifer O’Connell, Cliff Taylor, Hugh Linehan and Patrick Freyne. The festival will host a diverse line up of renowned guests, including Dr Mike Ryan, David Baddiel, Brian O’Driscoll, Bonnie Greer, Ellen Keane and Caitlin Moran.
Since the inaugural event in Summer 2020, an audience of 30,000 has tuned in to hear people like Donie O’Sullivan, Chris O’Dowd, Blindboy, Gabriel Byrne, MaryLou McDonald, Imelda May and Samantha Power.
