David Berry, the managing director of Kantar has been appointed as the new chair of AIMRO, the organisation that represents the Irish market research industry.
Every two years the chair of AIMRO rotates although because of Covid, Luke Reaper from B&A agreed to stay a third year at the helm to help guide the industry through the pandemic.
Berry is an experienced market researcher, with twenty years in the industry working across Kantar brands in the UK & Ireland. He now leads the Irish business of Kantar Insights and Kantar Worldpanel and is dedicated to helping brand owners, retailers and government bodies create the best possible service for their customers. A graduate of Cardiff University, he has lived in Ireland for almost 15 years and is an expert in understanding consumer, shopper and retailer trends, regularly featuring in business and consumer press.
