Havas Dublin Rolls Out New Campaign for Flahavan’s Porridge

Following a successful pitch win in 2024, Havas Dublin has launched its first campaign for Flahavan’s, one of Ireland’s most iconic brands.

The cross-platform campaign sees a TV ad, supported by an extensive outdoor, digital and radio campaign. The creative also features new product photography captured by Trevor Hart and styled by Erica Ryan.

Called ‘Lovely Doubly Baked’, the campaign highlights the double bake process which gives Flahavan’s porridge a creamier texture.

Directed by Arno Salters and produced by Butter, the TV ad delivers a spoonful of theatricality to everyday Ireland, as we follow a cast of characters who are so full of anticipation for their morning bowl of porridge, they can’t help but sing about it.

“Making a musical ad was a first for Flahavan’s and many of our team, which made every step of the production an exciting and fun challenge,” says Gary Boylan, creative director, Havas Dublin.

“Arno was the perfect director for the project – his inventiveness, combined with a lightness of touch on set, has created a perfectly judged execution of the script, while his brother Hervé was the musical director, making the campaign even more lovely doubly!,”

“With our new ‘Lovely Doubly Baked’ campaign, crafted by our partners in Havas, not only are we cementing the trust and quality perceptions of Flahavan’s among Irish consumers, we are building on the emotional connection they have with our brand in the warmest and most charming of ways,” said Judith McQuillan, marketing director, Flahavan’s.
