RTÉ has secured FBD Insurance as the sponsor of The Marian Finucane Show which broadcasts on RTÉ Radio 1 between 11am – 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The programme is the joint second most listened to radio programme in Ireland with 381,000 listeners on Saturdays and 332,000 on Sundays.
This sponsorship deal includes eight sponsor-credited stings per week, cross-station on-air promotions, as well as podcast and homepage sponsorship. According to some reports, the sponsorship is worth around €200,000 to RTÉ.
