Clear Channel Ireland has won the contract to install 70 digital screens in Tesco stores nationwide following a competitive tendering process.
The new network of screens will be known as Tesco Live and Clear Channel will be responsible for selling the advertising space on the screens as well as maintaining them.
According to Clear Channel, the screens will be located in premium positions at the entrance to Tesco stores and are being provided by Amscreen, Europe’s leading digital signage solutions company. The portfolio will be powered by Play IQ, Clear Channel’s intelligent scheduling and content management system which enables seamless ad-serving across all sites.
“We are delighted to win the Tesco contract at this exciting time for Out Of Home in Ireland. This is a significant investment in Digital Out of Home,” said Terry Buckley, Managing Director, Clear Channel Ireland. “This digital development will enable advertisers to reach the much sought-after Tesco shoppers when they are most receptive to advertising messages. The 70’ HD screens are supported by Clear Channel’s Play IQ, enabling complex media scheduling and dynamic creative opportunities.”
