As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, the APMC, which represents promotional marketing consultants in Ireland, has completed a major rebrand to coincide with the launch of its APMC Star Awards and a call for entries.
According to Valerie Melinn, chair of the APMC: “We’re delighted to have initiated some key changes to enable the evolution of the APMC. Our aim is to remain futureproof, relevant and inclusive for all members in an ever-diversifying audience by refocusing our objectives to engage in a more meaningful way.”
The judges for this year’s awards have also been announced and include Fiona Curtin, Global Marketing Director- Cider, Heineken, pitch doctor Brian Sparks, Alternative’s group managing director Charley Stoney and Imagination Post’s international director John Milne.
The awards provide the opportunity for campaigns to be compared and judged by the experts as well as offering a platform to spotlight the best-in-class work of the year. Winners in each category will also be eligible to enter the IMCC European Federation of Sales Promotion ‘Best of Europe’ Awards.
The APMC is also excited at the prospect of expanding its educational programmes for the year ahead, offering those working in the industry the chance to network with their peers while hearing from a selection of speakers on a range of industry relevant topics.
