In the Company of Huskies and Spark Foundry picked up the coveted Grand Prix award at ADFX 2018 which was held in the RDS, Dublin last night.
The two agencies picked up the award for their work with Nissan and the campaign called “A Micra Revolution. Smashing conventions and European sales, how a bespoke Irish campaign rescued a brand.”
In addition to the Grand Prix, they also picked up two gold awards on the night for the same campaign. Earlier in the evening, In the Company of Huskies also picked up two silver awards, alongside MediaCom, for campaigns for St. Vincent de Paul.
Other agencies to win gold on the night included Rothco, Grey London, Wavemaker and BBDO.
On top of the main awards, two special Judges Awards – Best New Learning & Best Use of Insight- went to Rothco for campaigns for Aer Lingus and the Irish Defence Forces. Publicis Dublin and PHD Ireland, meanwhile, also picked up one of the Judges Awards for Dedication to Effectiveness for their work with VHI.
Over 400 guests packed into the RDS Concert Hall for ADFX 2018 which is organised by IAPI. The MC for the night was Deirdre O’Kane. Sponsors of this year’s awards included News Ireland/Wireless, PML, Maximum Media, RTE Media Sales, YouTube Musgraves.
