McGargles, the Irish beer brand, has won the Love Irish Food Brand Development Award for 2015. The award will see McGargles receive €70,000 worth of Out-of-Home advertising space from Exterion Media. In addition, OwensDDB advertising has contributed an €8,000 creative bursary to the Award.
This is the fourth year that the prestigious award has been held attracting a large number of entries from Love Irish Food members. The extensive out-of-home campaign will appear nationally for two weeks across Exterion Media’s PurchasePoint retail portfolio and across their premium digital Out-of-Home Retail network. The package also includes print production and digital animation. Love Irish Food and Exterion Media will also mentor McGargles and plan the campaign to ensure it delivers the optimum results for their business objectives.
McGargles is part of the Rye River Brewing Company based in Celbridge Co Kildare. The company was started in late 2013 by Niall Phelan, Alan Wolfe and Tom Cronin.
