Joanne Grant, the managing director of JCDecaux Ireland, has been appointed the incoming President of the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce (FICC).
The France Ireland Chamber of Commerce (FICC) is a bilateral membership organisation which provides a range of business services and networking events to encourage and facilitate the establishment of new French companies in Ireland and new Irish companies in France.
As FICC President, Joanne will contribute to the promotion of business links between France and Ireland and to the attraction of France among Irish business circles.
She joined JCDecaux Ireland in 1997 and was appointed MD in October 2009. Previously she worked for 12 years in the drinks industry in sales and marketing roles. She was a member of the Corporate Fundraising Committee of the Simon Community Northern Ireland for over 15 years and joined the board in May 2012. She is also a member of the board of the Irish Cancer Society since October 2014.
She is also a chartered director and is a member of the Developing Committee of the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland and a Fellow of the UK Institute of Directors. She is also a director of the Outdoor Media Association and a director of the Joint National Outdoor Research Association.
“I am honoured to be appointed President of the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and look forward to representing the French and Irish business communities to promote the expansion of trade and business links between the two countries,” she says.
