An Irish hospitality group, Splash Hospitality, is offering Irish advertising agencies and marketers heading to next year’s Cannes Lions Festival an exclusive and competitive deal on accommodation for the duration of their stay.
Splash Hospitality, which is headed up by award winning hotelier Ray Byrne, manages the popular Mimozas Resort which is located a few miles outside Cannes ( www.mimozascannes.com). The resort boasts 281 superior apartments, offering a full hotel service and facilities including a Spa, three restaurants, two bars, a swimming pool and tennis courts, adjacent to the Old Course, the oldest golf course in the Mediterranean.
Splash Hospitality’s portfolio already includes Wineport Lodge outside Athlone and the Ice House in County Mayo.
Next year’s Cannes Lions festival takes place between June 18th-25th with entries open from January 22nd onwards. However, because of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championships, which take place between June 10th and July 10th, accommodation throughout France in both June and July is expected to be difficult to find and very expensive.
To welcome its Irish delegates to the Cannes Lions, the hotel is planning to offer a complimentary shuttle for the duration of their stay, a welcome drinks reception, a complimentary return boat trip to Cannes and the Lérins islands and a private delegates’ ‘meeting point’ for the duration of their stay. In addition, all delegates will have free access to the thermal areas of the spa and complimentary WiFi throughout the resort.
