With Virgin Media’s Autumn schedule in full flow, the broadcaster has announced that Lidl is the returning sponsor of Gogglebox Ireland, the popular fly-on-the-wall TV format.
The sponsorship deal, which was brokered by Core Sponsorship, also covers the digital sponsorship across the Virgin Media Player and Virgin Media on Demand.
According to Niamh O’Rourke of Lidl Ireland: ‘Through our new “The Big Save” marketing campaign we follow Irish couples, siblings and families as they navigate the aisles in Lidl for their weekly food shop. We are delighted to once again sponsor Gogglebox Ireland as it as it returns to Irish screens and gives us a similar glimpse into the viewing habits of the Irish public, in the run up to a busy Christmas period.”
