Five Irish agencies have been shortlisted for the annual IMC European Awards which will be held in December.
The agencies who make up the 62 finalists are Guns or Knives, Verve – The Live Agency, BBDO Dublin, Honey + Buzz and Titan Experience.
Guns or Knives has 13 entries shortlisted, including nine separate entries for its work with Samsung with the remaining entries for its work with FreeNow (formerly MyTaxi). Verve, meanwhile, was shortlisted in five categories for its work with Coca Cola and the Diageo-owned Rockshore. BBDO Dublin, meanwhile, was also shortlisted twice for its work with Rockshore. Honey+ Buzz, the agency set up by Jonny and Paddy Davis, also made the shortlist twice for its work with 53 Degrees North while Titan Experience gets through for its work with Fyffes Ireland.
In total, 24 agencies from seven different countries were shortlisted. All finalists are winners of national integrated marketing competitions.

Leading to a quite brilliantly innovative Grand Prix winner. As always the judging process supported by professionals throughout Europe was rigorous and we are grateful to our panel judges and IMC Board for the time they have once again given so freely.”
According to IMC European Awards Chair, Renate Vogt, “ All cases entered in the competition were of high quality and very well presented, so the judges ha d a tough job to come to the final decisions . All nominated cases are fine examples for the industry and our business.”
