The classified website BuyandSell.ie has been relaunched following a major investment by its parent company Communicorp, including a revamp of the site and a new brand identity.
According to Nóirín Ní Laocha, chief executive of BuyAndSell.ie, “BuyAndSell.ie still offers the simple reliable service that Irish people have used to find and flog their much loved items for the past 24 years, but now we doing it in a simpler, cleaner and more contemporary way. Irish consumers have a particular appetite for online retail, with projections of 20% growth year on year. We also love a good bargain. Having survived the worst recession in living history, we are more savvy in terms of how we spend our money. People are proud to shop smarter, to make their money go further, and buying and selling good quality, pre-owned and new items is an economical and conscientious way to do this.
