Havas has created a new campaign for the Valeo Foods- owned brand Batchelors. Called “My Dad” it was filmed in the area surrounding the Batchelors factory in Cabra and focuses on two boys’ playful game of one-upmanship on their journey home from school and illustrates that both Batchelors and the Cabra community are ‘Full of the Good Stuff’. The ad was directed by Sam Huntley through H2.
“The people who live in Cabra are fiercely proud of Batchelors and this provided great inspiration for the campaign,” says Havas’ creative director Adrian Fitz-Simon. “The script required a semi-documentary feel and Sam has a brilliant way of directing kids – a lightness of touch that allows their natural personalities to shine,” he adds.
According to Claire Allen, marketing manager for grocery at Valeo Foods: “The entire team in Valeo Foods is incredibly proud of the quality of the product produced in our Cabra factory. We have colleagues whose families have worked there for generations. We collaborated closely with the team in Havas to develop a strategy and creative execution that showcased the best of Batchelors.”
